CALL FOR ART: The Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art (PhilaMOCA) is now accepting submissions for the 2016 installment of our annual art exhibition ‘MURICA! We are looking for art of all kinds, patriotic or traitorous, celebratory or critical, as long as the subject is the US of A. Art in all 2D mediums will be considered (sorry, we cannot accept 3D works).
The exhibit’s opening reception/celebration will be held on Friday, July 1 and the show will hang through the end of the Democratic National Convention (Jul 28). Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, June 22. Accepted art must be delivered on June 28 between Noon and 6pm, or beforehand by appointment. Art must be ready to hang via wire or sawtooth hook at the time of installation. $15 hanging fee per selected work, 100% of the sales go to the artists.
