CALL FOR DAVID LYNCH-THEMED ART: ERASERHOOD FOREVER 2015

tpshiningPhilaMOCA is hosting the fourth annual installment of the critically-acclaimed ERASERHOOD FOREVER exhibit – an artistic celebration of the work of David Lynch. From paintings of your favorite TWIN PEAKS characters to paper mache’d nitrous tanks, we’re looking for anything that celebrates the filmography of one of America’s greatest living filmmakers.

The opening reception will be held on Thursday, October 1 from 6-9 PM. The exhibit will hang through Halloween.

Submissions: All mediums are welcome (no hazardous materials); restrictions apply to video/3D pieces/sculptures. Please send digital files or photos of submissions to curator Jay Bilinsky at curation@philamoca.org. Links are preferred for six or more entries.

There will be a $20 participation fee per selected piece of artwork, 100% of sales go to the artists.

Deadline for submissions is Monday, September 21, 2015.

Accepted Art Delivery: Drop-offs of accepted art can be made at PhilaMOCA (531 N. 12th Street) on Tuesday, September 29 from Noon – 6:00 PM or by appointment. Work must be ready to hang and prepared for installation. Art delivered by mail must include return postage and must arrive by September 29.

And since you’re probably wondering, our annual Eraserhood Forever celebration will take place on Saturday, October 3 and it’s going to be something special. The full lineup will be announced on Monday, August 17 exclusively on Welcome to Twin Peaks. Tickets will go on sale that same day. Artists participating in the art show do not get free admission to the October 3 event, it is its own event and is very expensive to produce.
